Six people ranging in age from 18 to early 20s were injured when the SUV they were riding in struck a telephone pole on Harbor Bl. near Edinger Av. in Fountain Valley shortly after Midnight.
Two of the occupants suffered critical injuries and were transported to UCI Medical Center in Orange.
Police found a cylinder containing Nitrous Oxide on the SUV.
The driver, 18 year old Alex Nieves, was placed under arrest for suspicious of driving while intoxicated.
