A cement truck traveling southbound on the 57 freeway near the Big A at Katella Ave. lost control and overturned landing on the center divider and partially into the northbound car pool lane. A car going northbound on the freeway was unable to avoid the truck and collided with it.
2 people suffered non life threatening injuries. Traffic was backed up on both sides of the freeway for at least 5 hours as crews worked to remove the truck and clean up spilled cement, oil, and diesel fuel.
