An early morning 3 alarm fire destroyed the Spicy Thai Restaurant on Chapman Avenue. More than five dozen Firefighters from at least 4 different agencies battled the stubborn fire for hours.
Arriving Firefighters found a well established fire in the attic with flames shooting out of the rear roof area. Firefighters had to pull back as the facade overhanging the side of the building collapsed in sections over the course of the fire.
The restaurant is a complete loss. Fire Investigators were at the scene trying to determine the cause of the fire.
