MASSIVE STREET TAKEOVER IN ANAHEIM

Two men were seriously injured during a massive street takeover in Anaheim Halloween night. As many as 1000 people watched as cars skidded in circles in the intersection of State College Blvd. and Orangewood Ave. around 1:30 a.m. Friday morning. Numerous fireworks were set off and several gunshots were heard.

The 2 men appear to have been watching the takeover when they were struck by a black Dodge Charger and became trapped beneath the car.

Witnesses immediately swarmed the car and the crowd lifted the car while others pulled the two men out from underneath the car.

Anaheim Police arrived quickly as the crowd dispersed on its own. Firefighters from Orange and Anaheim treated the two seriously injured men and transported them by ambulance to nearby UCI Medical Center.

The driver of the black Dodge that hit the pair fled the scene. A third person was struck by another car and was also taken to UCI Medical Center with less serious injuries.

Anaheim Police are asking that anyone with information or video of the driver of the Dodge please contact them.
