2 people were killed and 2 were injured in a 4 car accident on the northbound 405 freeway at Harbor Blvd. in Costa Mesa around 8:40 p.m. Friday night.
The California Highway Patrol received reports that one of the cars may have been speeding and driving recklessly before the crash.
All lanes of the northbound freeway were closed for about an hour.
The CHP is asking anyone that may have witnessed the crash to call their Santa Ana office at 714-567-6000 during business hours
