A man believed to be suffering a diabetic episode lost control of his car on the eastbound 91 freeway at East Street in Anaheim around 3:30 pm this afternoon and struck the center divider before careening into school bus and several other cars.
The bus from the Fairmont Private School had about half a dozen children on board at the time, but they were not injured. The diabetic driver was treated by Paramedics at the scene. He is not facing any charges at this time but may be subject to DMV license re examination.
Traffic was backed up eastbound passed the 5 freeway for several hours into the late afternoon commute.
