One person was killed when their car flew off the transition road from the eastbound 91 freeway to the northbound 57 freeway and exploded into flames on impact.
Both the transition road from the eastbound 91 to the northbound 57 and the transition road from the southbound 57 to the eastbound 91 were closed for several hours.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
