State Officials in Sacramento have confirmed that the initiative to legalize recreational marijuana use in California has qualified for the November, 2016 ballot.
The initiative supporters gathered the signatures of registered voters in order to qualify for the vote. The Secretary of State has certified that enough valid signatures were collected.
Most polls show the initiative is likely to pass by a wide margin.
