A man in bed suffered minor injuries when a pick up truck veered off Fairhaven St. and slammed into his bedroom wall. The man was in bed and was thrown to the floor by the impact.
The driver of the truck fled the scene and was not immediately located by police.
The resident of the house that faced Woodbury Drive was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Orange.
The Urban Search and Rescue Unit from the Orange Fire Department responded and secured the structure of the house.
