3 FROM O.C. KILLED IN ARIZONA CRASH

Three people believed to be from Orange County have been killed in an accident on Interstate 40 near Williams, Arizona, “the Gateway to the Grand Canyon”.

Preliminary reports indicate their car was traveling westbound on Interstate 40 when for unknown reasons it crossed the center divider and struck a big rig truck head on in the eastbound lanes.

3 people were pronounced dead at the scene. 1 person, possibly a child, was taken to a hospital in Flagstaff in unknown condition.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash that occurred near mile marker 153 at about 2:30 pm Tuesday.
