2 ALARM FIRE DAMAGES COSTA MESA BUSINESSES

Costa Mesa Police responding to a burglar alarm instead found the business at 1355 Logan Avenue on fire and radio for the Fire Department to respond around 8:40P.M. Tuesday night. Arriving Firefighters were met with flames and smoke coming from the wood working business in an industrial strip mall.

Costa Mesa Fire Department requested a second alarm which brought help from Fountain Valley Fire Department and the Newport Beach Fire Department.

Firefighters had the fire under control in about 20 minutes. The wood working business sustained heavy damage, and at least one neighboring business was also damaged.

Fire Investigators were called to try to determine the cause of the fire.
