Man Killed in Newport Beach Crash

A man was killed and his female passenger was seriously injured in a roll over crash on Jamboree Road in front of the Hyatt Regency Hotel shortly after Noon today.

The Mazda Miata hit a power pole and overturned. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are investigating the cause.
