MAN CRITICALLY INJURED IN GARDEN GROVE MOBILE HOME EXPLOSION

An explosion and fire in a mobile home at 13061 Fairview Street in Garden Grove left a man with life threatening burns around 6:20 p.m. April 30th.

The man was transported by ambulance to nearby UCI Medical Center in Orange. He told Paramedics he had just started cooking dinner when his mobile home exploded and caught fire.

Firefighters from Garden Grove, Orange, Anaheim, and the Orange County Fire Authority had the fire under control in about 30 minutes. The mobile home was a total loss.

Fire Investigators were called to the scene to try to determine the cause of the explosion.
