MARVEL UNIVERSE COMING TO ANAHEIM

‘Marvel Universe LIVE!’ heroes assemble.

Kyle Murillo’s martial arts and elite gymnast background has groomed him to ultimate superhero status.

“I have the privilege of playing your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man,” said Murillo. “One of my favorite things is Spider-Man gets to enter and save the day.”

Murillo is a performer with “Marvel Universe LIVE! Age of Heroes,” an action and stunt show featuring The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy, including Star-Lord, Gamora, Groot, Rocket and Drax to – what else? – save the universe from evil.

“Our tremendously talented creative team and a nearly super-human cast, have created a show that brings the grandeur of Marvel to life,” said Juliette Feld, producer of “Marvel Universe LIVE!” in a statement. “‘Age of Heroes’ creates an experience that immerses families in non-stop action, creating movie-style thrills and jaw-dropping stunts that showcase the powers of your favorite superheroes right before your eyes.”

The Feld Entertainment production premieres in Los Angeles on July 7 before heading to Ontario and then Anaheim.

“I’ll actually be swinging from building to building, tower to tower,” Murillo said, adding that there will also be plenty of flipping and falling, as well. “Training involves a lot of endurance, running, sprinting, as well as a lot of acrobatic training.”

He said to expect a high-intensity show for all ages.

“You can really expect to see your superheroes really duke it out in real life with the villains,” he said.
