Get in touch with nature while catching a free flick with the debut of the county and OC Parks’ Sunset Cinema film series.
Starting June 3 and running through Aug. 18, Carbon Canyon Regional Park, Craig Regional Park, Salt Creek Beach, Mason Regional Park, Laguna Niguel Regional Park and Yorba Regional Park will play host to 12 free movies.
“We are excited to invite the community to OC Parks Sunset Cinema,” Michelle Steel, chairwoman of the Orange County Board of Supervisors, said in a statement. “These free events welcome locals and visitors alike to gather outside and enjoy their favorite films under the summer sky.”
Movies are free, including free parking starting at 6 p.m. Movies start after sunset, at around 8 p.m. The public is invited to bring beach chairs, blankets and food – or check out some of the food trucks that will be serving at the events.
