If you’re looking for a little “me time,” here’s your chance to spend it in the company of some wellness-minded folks.
The Me.Life.Balance. conference promises a day of speakers and activities designed to help keep you well-balanced and healthy.
“With the stress that comes in balancing our personal and professional lives, it’s important to take some time for ourselves,” said The Whole Purpose founder Kelly Lam in a statement. “This event will offer our guests a chance to unwind and reboot through mindful wellness talks, power foods and influential keynotes.”
Speakers include keynote speaker Kimberly Snyder, who will discuss “Emotional Wellbeing and Keeping Emotional Balance through Proper Nutrition.”
There will be a Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian Expert panel, moderated by Dr. Allyson Brooks, the Ginny Ueberroth executive medical director endowed chair of the Hoag Women’s Health Institute.
Chef Jenny Ross will be talking about “Balancing your Energy through Superfoods and Healthy Quick Meal Planning.”
Emmy-award winning TV journalist, former Miss USA and KTLA news anchor Lu Parker will discuss how “Kindness Wins.”
And you don’t want to miss “That’s So Retrograde” podcast hosts Elizabeth Kott and Stephanie Simbari and their chat with nutritionist Elissa Goodman on “Detoxing the Mind.”
The day will also include acai breakfast bowls, a healthy lunch buffet, refreshing beverages, health-conscious snacks and a Healthy Happy Hour by Karma Tequila with drinks mixed with Solti cold-pressed juices. And, of course, expect plenty of cool tunes by a House of Blues musician. Attendees will also go home with a gift bag of health and beauty products.
