WOMAN ESCAPES FIERY WRECK ON 57 FREEWAY

A woman is lucky it be alive after she lost control of her car early this morning in pouring rain on the southbound 57 freeway in Brea. The car struck the center divided and spun across all lanes before coming to rest off the right shoulder on fire.

Several witnesses stopped and helped the woman out of the car and gave her shelter in one of their cars until Firefighters and the California Highway Patrol arrived.

She was uninjured in the accident.
