MAN KILLED IN HOUSE FIRE IN HUNTINGTON BEACH

Update: The male resident of the house was pronounced dead.

Huntington Beach Firefighters pulled a man from a burning house at 10452 Shangri La Drive shortly after 8 PM Friday night. The man was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. A neighbor was treated for smoke inhalation. He attempted to enter the house to rescue the resident but was driven back by heavy smoke.

Huntington Beach was assisted by Fountain Valley and Costa Mesa Firefighters on this 2nd alarm fire.

Fire Investigators are at the scene attempting to determine the cause of the fire.
