CAR CRASHES INTO IRVINE ICE CREAM STORE

Three people were injured shortly after 9 PM when a car slammed through the doors of the Afters Ice Cream Shop in the 2700 block of Alton Parkway in Irvine. The Orange County Fire Authority transported the injured to local hospitals. None of the injuries appeared life threatening.

The car drove through the glass doors into the shop which was open at the time. Irvine Police are investigating the cause. Human stupidity is likely involved.
