MISSING 95 YEAR OLD FOUND DEAD IN CRASH

A 95 year old man that was the subject of a Silver Alert issued by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department was found dead in the wreckage of his crashed car early this morning. A passerby saw the wrecked car on Bonita Canyon Road beneath the 73 Toll Road and called police.

The CHP determined the man had apparently been driving the wrong way on the Toll Road around 4 AM and for unknown reasons drove into the center divider and off the freeway onto the road below. Paramedics initially found the man in full cardiac arrest but were able to restore a pulse at the scene. They transported him by ambulance to OC Global Hospital in Santa Ana where he was unfortunately pronounced dead.

The Santa Ana Office of the CHP is investigating the incident.
