MAN KILLED IN 405 FREEWAY CRASH

One man was killed after he lost control of his SUV on the north bound 405 freeway near Beach Blvd. around 1 AM Sunday morning. His car overturned and was hit at high speed by another SUV, ejecting the first driver and killing him instantly.

The north bound lanes of the 405 were closed for about an hour as the CHP investigated the crash. Damage to the first SUV was significant and debris littered a large area of the freeway.
